PhysioRemedy Ltd
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage offers time to pause and relax, with attention to your comfort as your body changes. Your appointment is planned around your stage of pregnancy, health and preferences.
Care tailored to your needs
Comfort and suitability come first
Comfortable positioning, supportive cushions and pressure agreed with you help shape a calm, personal appointment.
A conversation before treatment
We begin with a conversation about how you are feeling, your stage of pregnancy and what you would like from the appointment. Please share your health history and any advice from your maternity team.
This helps us understand your needs and plan the appointment with you. You are welcome to ask questions or mention anything that would help you feel more at ease.
Comfort and relaxation
The focus is on relaxation and comfort, with attention to areas that feel tense. There is time to settle into a supported position and discuss the pressure and areas you prefer.
The approach is personal: an area can be avoided or the treatment adjusted to help you remain comfortable.
Pregnancy-aware treatment planning
Positioning and support are planned with you, using cushions where appropriate. Comfort and pressure are checked throughout the appointment.
You can ask to avoid an area, change position, reduce pressure or stop at any time. Clear consent, privacy and respectful communication remain central to the appointment.
Precautions and referral
Please mention new symptoms, pregnancy complications, recent medical advice, medication or other concerns when enquiring. The practitioner may defer treatment or recommend review by your maternity team if more information is needed.
If you feel unwell or are worried about a pregnancy-related symptom, contact your maternity team or an appropriate medical service promptly rather than waiting for a massage appointment. Follow the urgent advice provided by your maternity service.
Reviewing your needs as pregnancy progresses
As pregnancy progresses, your preferred position and areas of tension may change. Each appointment gives you the opportunity to discuss what feels comfortable and what you would like to focus on.
Any follow-up is planned around your preferences and response. Please share changes in your health or maternity advice before each session.
Availability and appointment arrangements
Please contact PhysioRemedy before booking so we can discuss suitability and the appointment options for this service.
Pregnancy massage is an in-person treatment. Please confirm the available location and appointment type before booking; home visits and online physiotherapy are separate services.

Frequently asked questions
Is pregnancy massage suitable for everyone?
No. Individual health, pregnancy circumstances and maternity advice need to be considered. Treatment may be deferred or a referral recommended.
Can I book at any stage of pregnancy?
Please contact PhysioRemedy before booking. Availability, practitioner scope, your stage of pregnancy and individual circumstances need to be reviewed; this page does not set a universal starting point.
What if I have a pregnancy complication?
Discuss this with your maternity team and tell PhysioRemedy before arranging treatment. Additional advice may be needed and massage may not be appropriate.
Can massage replace antenatal or medical care?
No. Continue with your maternity care and seek medical advice about new or concerning symptoms. Massage cannot diagnose or treat pregnancy complications.
